Seedance video length, resolution, sound, and task cost
There is no single export limit that applies to every Seedance model, provider, region, or third-party product. In Try Seedance, the live composer and pricing catalogue are the sources for the task you are about to submit.
Read the visible model, output settings, upload rules, credit estimate, and plan state before generation; inspect the delivered file after completion.
Limits visible in the current workspace
Try Seedance currently submits one video per task. The composer loads compatible duration and resolution choices from the enabled model catalogue, then calculates an estimated credit cost from the selected model and settings. If a control is not shown for that selection, do not assume it is available through this workspace.
Reference inputs also have local boundaries. Image slots show a 30 MB limit; reference video is validated for supported MP4 or MOV input, 2 to 15 seconds, 480p to 720p, and up to 35 MB; reference audio is limited to supported MP3 or WAV input, up to 15 seconds and 15 MB. The upload control remains the final pre-submit reference.
- One generated video per Try Seedance task.
- Duration, resolution, ratio, and sound depend on the live model entry.
- Credit estimate changes with the active model and output settings.
Export, retention, and output review
A completed task can return a playable result that you can download and revisit from the task library while it remains stored by the product. Keep your own authorized copy when the file is important; a task page or provider URL should not be treated as permanent archival storage.
Inspect the downloaded file instead of inferring its properties from the model name. Confirm container, dimensions, duration, audio, visible marks, metadata, first and final frames, and playback compatibility with the intended editor or publishing channel.
- Download and archive important approved results.
- Check the actual file properties and provenance indicators.
- Review provider terms and platform disclosure rules before distribution.
Free trials, pricing, and the meaning of Pro
Try Seedance does not promise a universal free trial or unlimited free generation on this guide. The pricing page shows the current Try Seedance product catalogue, and checkout availability depends on the payment configuration. The account balance and pre-submit estimate show whether a specific task can proceed.
A Try Seedance plan named Pro is a billing tier for this independent product; it is not an official Seedance model version and does not prove access to a provider model also described as pro. Compare plan credits and product features separately from the exact model entry selected for generation.
- Plan name: Try Seedance billing and support package.
- Model name: provider model selected for the task.
- Credits: product balance consumed by the visible estimate.
Frequently asked questions
What is the maximum Seedance video length in Try Seedance?
Use the duration options displayed for the active model. The current composer exposes short-clip settings and does not claim one universal maximum for every provider version.
How many videos are generated per task?
The current Try Seedance workflow generates one video per submitted task.
Does the Pro plan mean Seedance Pro model access?
No. A Try Seedance plan name and a provider model name are separate. Verify the exact model in the live selector.
Is there a free Seedance trial?
No universal free allowance is promised here. Check the current pricing page, account credit balance, enabled payment state, and the estimate shown before generation.
Are downloaded videos guaranteed to have no watermark?
No blanket guarantee is made. Inspect the delivered file and check the selected provider's current watermark and provenance policy before publishing.
